Daytona A&K M240 HPA Recoil Conversion Kit
Description
Designed for the A&K/Echo1 M240. Can be adapted to fit the JG/Golden Eagle M240 with extensive modifications.
The Daytona Airsoft M240 Kit converts your M240 AEG to a HPA powered recoil system allowing you to use M240 AEG box magazines. No more cooling with green gas or propane.
The standard version delivers around 1.5 to 1.8 J with 0.20g BBs at 120 PSI. Please note that these are averages and depending on your system (barrel length, BB weight and joule slip, installation, etc.) results may vary.
Component Material:
Machined Steel, Brass, and 6061 Aluminum
Dura 70 Synthetic Rubber
Bolt Carrier Material:
Steel bolt with brass bolt reservoir
The Daytona Airsoft System kit means you can have even more recoil, louder noise than the GBB system, and increased effective range like the Fusion engine, without spending a fortune on GBBR magazines. It requires a break-in period of around 2000 to 4000 BBs, where a small amount of BB firing and cutting may occur. This is normal while the system is breaking in.
You must install an AEG barrel made of brass or steel. Never use an aluminum barrel, as it will bend from the hop-up set screws. You should also prepare an HPA tank and a Redline, Wolverine, or PolarStar regulator with a simple QD disconnect and a wide-bore air line.
During the break-in period, keep lubricating your gun with lubricant. Use only the quality BBs you intend to use for shooting during play, never skimp on them. As soon as all your shots are consistent, you can engage the hop-up gradually (1/8 turn each time) until you reach the designated trajectory.
