Electro River™ is a new product of exceptional quality on the LiPo battery market. The manufacturer has created a product that matches the quality of the best manufacturers on the battery market while maintaining an affordable price. The brand offers long-lasting batteries as well as batteries designed with limited power supply space in mind – even batteries similar in size to a cigarette lighter!
The high quality of the cables and plugs ensures maximum use of the battery's energy potential by minimizing losses during energy transfer. This also prevents the contacts from overheating. Each cell has been protected with the NanoSafe® system to minimize possible battery ignition as a result of serious damage.
Thanks to Subzero Power® technology, low-temperature performance has been significantly increased. Even at sub-zero temperatures, the self-discharge rate is very low. The high fidelity of each cell and other elements ensures minimal internal resistance and voltage resistance under load. As a result of the above mentioned features, up to 20% more charge cycles were achieved than on other Li-Po batteries. This makes Electro River™ products an attractive offer for both beginners and advanced users of LiPo batteries.
Lithium-ion polymer (LiPo) packs are the successors of the well-known lithium-ion (LiIon) packs. The main advantage of LiPo batteries is the capacity-to-size ratio. They are very compact in size, while maintaining very high current efficiency, which allows you to choose the right pack for virtually any AEG replica. They do not have the so-called "memory effect". They can be recharged very frequently without first being discharged. Frequent charging is beneficial for this type of battery.
Remember not to discharge the LiPo pack below 3 V per cell and not to overcharge it above 4.2 V per cell. Another advantage of LiPo packs is the small percentage of self-discharge. An unused pack loses approximately 3 to 5 % of energy per month. It is important to keep an eye on the battery, as during prolonged storage, discharge below the minimum allowable value (3 V per cell) and irreversible chemical reactions can lead to deterioration of the battery's properties, including permanent damage and, in extreme cases, ignition. An unused LiPo battery should have an average charge of about 70%.
If used correctly, the average operating life of LiPo batteries is 500 to 700 cycles. An important aspect is the temperature at which LiPo batteries can operate. Unlike other rechargeable batteries, LiPo cells can withstand low temperatures well. Instead, they should be charged at room temperature. To maintain the good condition of LiPo batteries, they should be balanced during charging using the service plug, which most LiPo batteries have (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
