VFC M4 / AR-15 AEGs are at this point an industry standard, being robust, and upgraded out of the box and since it does utilize the version 2 gearbox, aftermarket parts are easily found if the players so wish to upgrade it further. Saying that this is the Honda Civic of the airsoft world is not that far-fetched.

The VFC Avalon M4 CQBII electric airsoft rifle is a cool MK18 style AR 15 rifle with a licensed Daniel Defense MK18 handguard, Externally this airsoft rifle has excellent build quality with no wobble whatsoever, it comes with a retractable stock, flip-up iron sights, and a sling attachment point located on the end plate, but all this is pretty standard, MK18 AEGs are not a new thing, that's why this rifle shines internally.

Internally, the VFC Avalon M4 CQBII has the VFC ECS gearbox with the GATE ASTER system installed. In turn, this instantly makes this AEG one of the top AEGs out of the box. GATE ASTER features programmable electronics, like a trigger proximity sensor that allows you to fine-tune 250 trigger sensitivity settings, a binary trigger function as a basic setup, an optical gear cam sensor that supports all types of gears, and allows you to program the guns firing mode from semi/full auto to semi/burst for example. Adding to this impressive list, the M4 CQBII comes standard with Maple Leaf internals such as an inner barrel and hop-up allowing for your groupings to be tighter and have an extended range capability. Lastly, the CQBII comes Deans (T-Plugs) ready.
