VFC US SOCOM M3 MAAWS Gas Grenade Launcher

Multi-role anti-armor anti-personnel weapon system
The USSOCOM M3 MAAWS gas grenade launcher imagined by VFC: Its real counterpart has antecedents to the Swedish Carl Gustaf recoilless rifle (widely used by US Special Forces). The real version of this reusable and portable 84mm multipurpose recoilless rifle is produced by Saab Bofors Dynamics.

The US Army named the Gustav recoilless rifle the "Ranger Anti-Tank Weapon System" (RAWS), and the M3 Gustav recoilless rifle prototype was first shown in 1991. Shortly after, Bofors introduced the Carl Gustaf M3 version. The improvement over its predecessor was to reduce the weight of the launcher body: the inner lining of the launch barrel, including the rifling, was made of thinner steel. The external structure reinforcement material is made of lightweight carbon fiber and epoxy resin, and all parts that do not need strength are made of aluminum alloy or plastic, all of which greatly reduces the weight of the original transmitter by about 6kg


      Nylon fiber reinforced lightweight polymer design
      VFC's USSOCOM M3 MAAWS uses nylon fiber reinforced polymer for the main structure, which greatly reduces the weight of the entire product. This provides a weight reduction from what would be 10kg (if manufactured from original material) to approximately 4kg with the VFC design. Internally, all key components are still made of metal, so durability is preserved where it matters most. This design not only reduces weight but also maintains the structural strength of the USSOCOM M3 MAAWS platform.
      Realistic operation
      Staying true to the design of the real USSOCOM M3 MAAWS, it is not only effective in eliminating its target, but also simulates the operational experience of the original M3 as much as possible. Take it to the airsoft battlefield and you will not only get a lot of looks, but you will also have a lot of fun!


Simulated 84mm rocket
       The USSOCOM M3 MAAWS gas launcher includes an 84mm dummy rocket with additional functionality. You can install a 40mm airsoft gas grenade by removing the dummy rocket cap from the 84mm rocket. And the 40mm airsoft gas grenade can fire ammunition or the rubber cap of the grenade!
       Interchangeable ammunition types
       In addition to the default green gas energy, other energy source grenades will be released in the future. But it doesn't stop there... the types of projectiles used in the M3 are not only 6mm balls, but also standard 40mm gas grenades and an optional 40mm "Titan" gas grenade available in a 65mm launch module (set to according to national laws). You'll also have even more options of other projectiles, so your USSOCOM M3 MAAWS can have the same tactical flexibility on the Airsoft battlefield as the real thing!
